The National Association of Responsible Home Rebuilders and Investors (NARHRI) is pleased to announce the creation of the Community Appreciation and Rehabilitation Educational Services program (NARHRI CARES). With the assistance of our Industry, State Legislative Leaders, Corporate, Presidential and Individual members, NARHRI is coordinating site visits to communities improved by the work of real estate investors.

These site visits will target state lawmakers in leadership positions, officials from the offices of attorneys general and state governors, and members of the press. NARHRI representatives and investors will tour communities with these key decision-makers so that we may demonstrate the essential services that investors provide to constituents. NARHRI CARES serves as a balance to the one-sided and biased reports fed to lawmakers by groups more interested in securing government subsidies to consult with consumers rather than providing true assistance and choice to consumers during their time of greatest need.

NARHRI CARES launch site are in Arizona, North Carolina and Texas this year. We believe that as NARHRI CARES spreads throughout the country, the industry will begin to see improvement in terms of media perception and press coverage, as well as influence over open-minded lawmakers willing to consider all sides when considering how to regulate the investing industry.

Additional information and updates regarding the CARES Program will be posted on NARHRI’s new website set to launch in a few weeks. Members who have a compelling story about a home or distressed community are encouraged to write NARHRI Executive Director John Grant at info@narhri.org
